Talk about an affirmation. All I have to do is read one headline like this to remind me that rice and beans don't often carry deadly bacteria like Listeria monocytogenes. What a sad story! Our carnivorous brothers & sisters were just buying a little convenience and didn't bargain for this as a freebie. My sympathy to those affected.
